LEWISTON, Maine — The Franco Center will host an evening of stand-up comedy with New England favorite Juston McKinney on Saturday, April 11, promising a night of big laughs and relatable humor.

McKinney is widely recognized for his sharp storytelling and down-to-earth comedic style, drawing on his experiences growing up in New England. A familiar face to comedy audiences nationwide, he has made multiple appearances on The Tonight Show and Comedy Central, and has released several one-hour stand-up specials on Amazon Prime Video, including Parentally Challenged, On Mid-Life Support and On the Bright Side. His latest special is also available on YouTube, where it has surpassed one million views.

Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and raised along the New Hampshire–Maine border, McKinney brings a distinctly regional perspective to his comedy. Before launching his career, he spent seven years working as a deputy sheriff in rural Maine, an experience that continues to influence his authentic and often hilarious storytelling.
After moving to New York City in the late 1990s, McKinney quickly became a regular on the comedy club circuit. The New York Times once described him as “destined for stardom.”
His television credits include appearances with Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien, as well as a Showtime special alongside Rob Gronkowski. He has also performed at TD Garden as part of Denis Leary’s Comics Come Home. His acting credits include roles in The King of Queens, 100 Centre Street, and the films Zookeeper and Here Comes the Boom.
Now based in New Hampshire with his wife and children, McKinney continues to tour theaters and clubs across the country, delivering comedy that is smart, personal and consistently funny.

The Franco Center is handicap accessible through its elevator entrance on the Lincoln St. Alley side of the building. Parking is in the mill lot on Oxford Street. The venue is at 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston.
