North Waterford-United Parish Concert Series

NORTH WATERFORD – As a locally formed group of just clarinet players, Mainely Clarinets has been performing in area churches, nursing and veterans’ homes in Maine and New Hampshire as well as at special local events for more than 40 years. Our current members consist of six players. Randa Viitala, from Harrison on bass clarinet, Heather Stewart, Mark Stanaford, Erika Gates and Dick Albert from Bridgton and Al Struck from Waterford on soprano clarinet.
It is interesting that all of them are former or current educators of which three have degrees in music.
This unique sounding group provides a wide variety of music styles like swing, standards, calypso, rag, polkas, folk and classical.
