GREENWOOD – The Locke Mills American Legion, Post #68, will be holding a Christmas Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 20th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., 595 Gore Road, Greenwood, Me. Decorative Christmas cookie boxes will be available for sale at 8.00 each. Take the container and do a “cookie walk” around the hall, filling it to the brim with assorted, home-baked cookies. Typically, the box should hold around 1 to 1 1/2 dozen cookies, depending on cookie size. Free Christmas gift tags, Coffee, hot chocolate, marshmallows, and punch will be available. Price: donations.
A gift of cookies would make someone, including Santa, a nice last-minute gift.
All proceeds to benefit the Legion.
