WEST PARIS – Join West Paris Public Library and The Merry Mermaids on Saturday, December 6, as we celebrate the winter holidays with a concert! Music will begin at 3 pm, followed by refreshments and socializing.
The Merry Mermaids include Elaine Emery, Stephanie Emery, Allison Lupien, Emily Lupien, and often other family members. They have been making music together for many years. Elaine has a lifetime of musical experience, having taught piano for over 40 years and served as a church organist and accompanist for over 40 years. Emily played trumpet and French horn and sang throughout grade school and college. She currently sings with the Tri-City Community Chorus. Allison played percussion and violin and sang throughout grade school and has a minor in music from the University of Maine, Orono. She currently plays with the Midcoast Symphony Orchestra. Stephanie has played the flute since she was seven and has a degree in music education. Merry Mermaids will be performing various holiday selections, including “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” “Frosty the Snowman,” and more.
