NAPLES – The Lake Region Community Chorus “The Holly and the Ivy” Dec 5

NAPLES – The Lake Region Community Chorus invites you to experience the magic and

wonder of the Holiday Season as they perform a variety of seasonal favorites,

old and new. The concerts are scheduled for Friday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m.

and Sunday, December 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Region High School’s

Auditorium, 1877 Roosevelt Trail, Naples. This very talented choral group is made up of sixty singers from

twelve surrounding towns.

The concert will feature a joyous celebration of pieces that express the

promise, hope and meaning of the season. The singing will be enhanced with

instrumental accompaniments by Rusty Wiljer, percussion, Rick Gordon,

flute, Jacob Kuvaja, electric bass, Adam Quincy, trumpet, Pam Ward and

Brian Sprunger, guitar, Glen Jukkola, violin and six bell chime ringers. The

concert will conclude with the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus with audience

participation.

The LRCC is directed by Jan Jukkola and Susan Stockwell and accompanied

by Patrick Speckamp. The chorus would like to thank the Bridgton Academy

for all of their help and support and Saphrona Stetson and Greg Watkins for

all of their assistance at the LRHS. The LRCC would also like to thank their

enthusiastic audiences and local sponsors for their support. Donations to help

cover music and operating costs will be most appreciated.
