Portland, Maine — September 9th, 2025 — Androscoggin Bank is pleased to announce that Mark Williams has joined the Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer (CGO). In this role, Williams will oversee the Bank’s marketing, retail, treasury, and mortgage teams, leading efforts to drive revenue growth, elevate the client experience, and expand the Bank’s reach throughout Maine and beyond.
Williams brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in financial services, most recently serving as Head of Business Banking Treasury Solutions at Citizens Bank. There, he led a multidisciplinary team across cash management, foreign exchange, commercial card, and merchant services, delivering double-digit fee income growth and launching industry-recognized solutions such as CashFlow Essentials. He has also held senior leadership roles at Wells Fargo, where he directed treasury and sales management for the Eastern Division.

Outside of his professional career, Williams resides in Arundel with his wife of 25 years, their five children, and three dogs. A lifelong learner, he is passionate about studying history along with social, political, and economic theory.
