  • Augusta, Maine Independence Day fireworks will be on Friday, July 4th. The fireworks are scheduled for 9:00 PM and best viewed from Mill Park, according to Main Street MaineThe city’s Independence Day celebration will also include a parade starting at 10:00 AM and festivities at Old Fort Western. 
  • Andover – fireworks for 2025 are scheduled for July 3, 2025. The show will take place at Andover High School at 80 Shawsheen Road and is set to begin at dusk, approximately 9:20 PM. If there is inclement weather, the rain date is set for Sunday, July 6. 
  • Belgrade – fireworks for 2025 are scheduled for July 3rd, around 9:15 PM over Long Pond. There will also be an antique-boat parade on July 4th at noon on Great Pond. 
  • Bethel – The main fireworks display in Bethel, Maine for 2025 will be part of the Summer Kick-Off event at Sunday River Resort, and is scheduled for Saturday, July 5th, at 9 PMaccording to the Bethel Area Chamber of CommerceThe event will also feature live music at the Suds Pub on the same day. 
  • Brunswick- Annual Fireworks Display | Thursday, July 3, 2025. The Independence Fireworks Display in Brunswick is a dazzling celebration of freedom and community!
  • Poland, Mechanics Falls & Minot | June 30: Fireworks at Poland Spring Resort (residents only) with live music by the Larry Williams Band at 7 PM. Learn More

  • Gardiner – The fireworks display in Gardiner, Maine, is part of the Gardiner Tigers Class of 2025 celebration, which takes place on June 27, 2025. The celebration includes a parade starting at 7:45 PM from Winter Street Baptist Church to the waterfront, followed by a fireworks show at 9:00 PM. 
  • Harrison – fireworks for 2025 are part of the town’s July 4th celebrations, which are expected to include fireworks over Long Lake. While specific details for Harrison are still being finalized, many towns in Maine, including nearby Portland and Ogunquit, have scheduled fireworks for July 4th. Many towns will have parades, concerts, and other festivities leading up to the fireworks. 
  • Lisbon –  fireworks for 2025 will be part of the Moxie Festival, which is scheduled for July 11th, 12th, and 13thThe fireworks are typically held on the evening of July 3rd, around 9 PM, at Number One Pond. The theme for the 2025 Moxie Festival is “Hang Loose, Drink Moxie!”. 
  • Rangeley fireworks for 2025 are scheduled for July 3rdThe celebration will take place at the Rangeley Town Park and will begin with a parade down Main Street followed by other events, culminating in a fireworks display over Rangeley Lake around 9:00 PM, according to Mainely Parents. 
  • Mt Vernon, Echo Lakes Fireworks July 4th at dusk
  • Rumford, Maine fireworks for the 4th of July celebration will be held at the Hosmer Field Complex on Friday, July 4, 2025, after dusk, according to a local news source. The celebration, including food, music, games, and vendors, starts at 4 p.m.
  • Farmington Freedom Days fireworks display will be on July 3rd, 2025, as part of a larger multi-day celebration from July 2nd to 6th. The fireworks are scheduled for 9:25 PM, with a simulcast on KWYK 94.9 FM, according to Visit Farmington, NM.  
  • Oxford – The main event featuring fireworks in Oxford, Maine in 2025 is the Celebration of America 300 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Tuesday, July 1st, and Wednesday, July 2ndAdditionally, the Oxford County Fair, which includes fireworks, takes place from September 10-13, 2025. 
  • Skowhegan – The primary fireworks display in Skowhegan, Maine for 2025 will be on July 4th as part of their River Days celebration, according to event listings. The fireworks are launched to commemorate Independence Day. You can also expect to see fireworks at the Saddleback Mountain Torchlight Parade on February 21st. 
  • Sebago Lake – The fireworks display in Sebago, Maine, is part of the annual Sebago Days celebration, which takes place from July 18th to 20th, 2025. The fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 19th. 
  • Wilton, Maine, will host its annual fireworks display on Saturday, August 2, 2025, as part of the Wilton Blueberry Festival. The fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:00 PM.
  • The Winthrop, Maine fireworks for the 4th of July, 2025, are scheduled for Friday, July 4th, at approximately 9:20 PM at Norcross Point, according to Eventbrite. There is a rain date of July 5th, according to Eventbrite.
