Rotarian Citizen of the Year Award!
To become a Rotarian, a citizen needs to be invited by a member of a local Rotary club, demonstrate a commitment to ethical conduct through the “Four-Way Test,” actively participate in club meetings and service projects, and contribute to the club’s community initiatives, all while upholding Rotary’s core values of service above self, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership!
This years Rotarian of The Year Award 2024 goes to Shannon Glover!
Shannon is involved in so many community project such food pantries, American Red Cross as a River Valley Leader, she helps with organizing the youth to volunteer in the community! She is the epitome of “Service Above Self!
Shannon works at the River Valley Healthy Community Colation.
She is responsible for managing a group of 10
Volunteers in distributing food in the River Valley Community, and works closely with the Good Shepard Food bank in ordering product and maintain records around food insecurity in our community!
She is the C.C.P Team Leader working with some people in our community that may have some mental health conditions stemming from the major flooding that took place in December 2023 by listening to their concerns and directing them to resources!
