May 18 — Annual Historic Gardiner Public Library Plant Sale and Silent Auction, 8 am to 1 pm, Gardiner Public Library, 152 Water Street in Gardiner Maine. A great selection of outdoor plants, grown and donated by Gardiner residents and local farmers. Native plants highlighted, and a local herbalist and plant specialist on site to ask gardening questions. Over 30 auction items donated by area artists, craftspeople, restaurants, merchants and organizations. Auction begins May 13th. Check and cash only.
