U.S. Ice Cross Association President Kale Johnstone remarked, “We’re very excited to return to Lost Valley in 2024. The athletes all loved the course layout in 2023, and it is a great venue for us to wrap up our 2024 World Championship Series. We’d like to thank Lost Valley, the Maine Office of Tourism, Valley Distribution and all of our other partners for helping bring this event to the region.” Lost Valley Owner Scott Shanaman echoed Johnstone’s sentiments saying, “Lost Valley is honored to play host to the ATSX World Championships. We love doing cool things here and there isn’t a much cooler thing than people racing downhill, over jumps and other features as fast as possible on ice skates. We think the spectators will enjoy this event immensely and believe it will grow to be a great annual event for the region. We welcome everyone to come out to this year’s event.”
