Rep. Barbara Bagshaw (Windham) Recognizes Windham resident reaching 100 years of age
WINDHAM – Rep. Barbara Bagshaw (R-Windham) recognized Shirley Saunders of Windham on turning 100 years of age. The public recognition came in the form of Legislative Sentiments from the 131st Maine Legislature and the People of Maine, delivered to Shirley at Ledgewood Manor. It was Sponsored by Rep. Bagshaw along with Sen. Nagle (Cumberland) and Rep. Pringle (Windham).
“What a milestone it is to reach the age of 100,” said Rep. Bagshaw. “I am so pleased that the Legislature and people of the State of Maine chose to recognize Shirley Saunders for a century of love and devotion to her family, friends, church and community.”
Longtime friends, Barbara frequently brings Shirley some of her homemade soup.
