Gray Wild Blueberry Festival – Gray’s Biggest Celebration!
[Gray, Maine] – The Seventh Annual Gray Wild Blueberry Festival will be celebrating Community and Culture on Saturday, August 12, 2023, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the heart of the village at the Henry Pennell Municipal Complex, 24 Main Street, Gray, ME 04039.
This free to attend event welcomes 50+ artisans, crafters, community groups and local businesses for a filled Saturday. With a growing list of musical entertainment and activities there is something for everyone – including Spelling Bee, Kids’ Fun Runs, Wild Blueberry Pie Eating contests and a Wild Blueberry Pie Bake-Off, Model Trains, Blacksmith and Wood Carving demos, Corn Hole and 3×3 Basketball Tournaments! Or enjoy some locally sourced food and just take in the day with tunes from Maine based performers.
“This event draws folks from all over southern Maine and beyond, helps local community groups raise over $5,000 every year, and is a much-anticipated event!” provided Lacy Antonson, Gray Wild Blueberry Festival Committee Chair/volunteer. “It’s wonderful to get glowing feedback from our vendors, Town Council, and festival guests.”
The Gray Wild Blueberry Festival is hosted by the town of Gray and led by a volunteer committee excited to share its small-town hospitality, create ‘new childhood’ memories, and revive the ‘old childhood’ memories of Gray’s Old Home Days.
