Gould DEB director speaks at Bethel Rotary Club meeting

Stephanie Montgomery, director of Diversity, Equity and Belonging at Gould Academy, was a recent speaker at the Bethel Rotary Club. Born in Virginia, Montgomery described her experience growing up in the Jim Crow segregation era and how her parents worked to instill in her the value of human dignity. She became involved with Gould when her daughter was a student 25 years ago. DEB at Gould spans all aspects of the school community. This year Gould has invested in faculty professional development, had discussions on the future of DEB, and held diverse celebrations on campus. (Submitted photo)
