The Bethel Rotary Club recently heard a presentation by Laurie Fitch (left) of the Mt. Abram Ski Club’s free after-school ski and snowboard program, available to any student in School Administrative District 44 (Bethel, Gilead, Greenwood, Newry and Woodstock). The club also provides grant money for equipment and lessons to those who need it. Bethel Rotary provided a contribution to support the initiative. Club President Jean Benedict is at right.
