Inland Hospital Lights of Life tree remembers loved ones, supports community

WATERVILLE — Northern Light Inland Hospital will insall a Lights of Life holiday tree at the hospital, which will be illuminated at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9., at the hospital, 200 Kennedy Memorial Drive.
Community members may buy lights for the tree to recognize special people in their lives. Every light purchased brightens the tree and supports the exceptional care provided at Inland Hospital, organizers said. The lighting will also be shared on the hospital’s Facebook page, live.
Six levels of recognition are available, beginning with white lights at $10 and culminating with the star at $1,000. The name of each individual honored or remembered will be displayed on the Inland Hospital website throughout the holiday season. Lights of Life tribute forms will be available to download for those who purchase lights to send to honorees.
Every dollar raised through Lights of Life will stay local to support patient care at Inland Hospital.
“We’re excited to bring this new tradition to the Waterville community,” Tricia Costigan, president of Inland Hospitalm said. “With a gift to Lights of Life, you will not only brighten the tree, but you will also help support care for patients in our community.”
