LEWISTON – The city’s Christmas will arrive at Dufresne Plaza, 72 Lisbon St., at around 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22.
City Arborist Steve Murch annually asks residents to offer to donate a tree, and this year’s is a 40-foot spruce. Lewiston Public Works will place the tree at the top of the Plaza (Park Street side) upon its arrival.
The tree will be lit during the Holiday at the Plaza festivities Saturday, Dec. 3. The lighting, as well as a menorah lighting, is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. during the 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. festival.
