AUGUSTA — The Maine Chapter of American Mothers Inc. is hosting its fall meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Viles Mansion, 71 Stone St.
The group looks forward to growing its chapter, and all are invited to attend and learn more about the mission to support, encourage and empower mothers and families throughout Maine and beyond. This includes nominating the annual Maine Mother of the Year.
The chapter will host a Christmas Gala Dec. 9, when it will introduce the 2023 Maine Mother of the Year nominees.
Those attending the Oct. 21 meeting are asked to bring a package of socks to support the Socktober Drive for those in need.
