Village Makes of Wilton inaugural monthly creative crawl is Oct. 8

WILTON – A new creative crawl series hosted by the Village Makers of Wilton will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. the second Saturday of October, November and December on Main and High streets.
The crawl will feature demonstrations by guest artisans, special promotions, a chance to meet makers, and craft snacks and beverages from local businesses.
The inaugural Oct. 8 event, Meet the Makers, will include a demonstration by accomplished watercolor artist Joanna Ashford along with light refreshments at Vera’s Iron and Vine; Crafter’s Cave will host George Ramos, who will show finger weaving techniques; Nicki’s Furniture Restoration will show off unique pieces and provide hot cocoa and cookies from B&B Café; October Moon Creations will prepare dip mixes and mulling spices to sample, along with other refreshments.
