Maine Garlic Festival is Oct. 1, 2 at Lake George Park in Skowhegan

SKOWHEGAN — The 4th annual Maine Garlic Festival will be held Frida and Saturday, Oct. 1 and 2, at Lake George Regional Park’s west (Skowhegan) side.
The Garlic Festival will begin at 9:30 a.m. both days, ending at 6 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.
There will be live music both days featuring local bands such as Lee Sykes, Matt and the Barnburners, Sharon Hood and Dixon Road, Brian Richmond, Clay Camero and Sagittarius Rising.
Attendees can sample fresh garlic creations and local produce, along with great food and local craft spirits. There will be local artwork, artisan crafts, and recreation activities along with plenty of fun stuff for the kids.
