WINSLOW — Winslow’s 51st annual Blueberry Festival will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Winslow Congregational Church, 12 Lithgow St.
Admission to the festival grounds is free.
Nearly 750 blueberry pies and “all things blueberry” baked goods will be available for sale, and may be picked up at the church from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, or during the festival on Satuurday.
The night before the Blueberry Festival, there will be chicken barbeque dinner to go from 3 to 7 p.m. at the church, for $12 a person. It will be served by Winslow Community Cupboard food pantry volunteers and all proceeds will benefit the food pantry.
The festival begins with a blueberry pancake breakfast, from 7 to 10 a.m., for $7 a person, $5 for those 12 and under, payable at the door.
There will also be a Lobster Shore-Dinner Raffle; live music, local craft vendors, a yard sale, food, a silent auction, an agricultural exhibit featuring goats, a firetruck and police car.
