Rumford food pantry director is Rotary guest

RUMFORD – Shannon Glover was the featured guest speaker at River Valley Rotary Club March 14.
Glover is director of the Old School Food Pantry, at 115 Main St.
The pantry opened five months ago and is open to anyone in the River Valley area. It feeds about 200 families, with a large number of them older adults. It also has 15 volunteers, including several Rotarians.
The pantry is open 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, offering non-perishable items as well as fresh produce. Two Wednesdays a month it offers only fresh produce.
