Waterville church benefit will support homeless shelter, food pantry

WATERVILLE — The Pleasant Street United Methodist Church online auction, which runs from Feb. 7 to 18, will support the church’s charitable community outreach, from the Waterville Homeless Shelter to the Sunday Sandwich Program to the Greater Waterville Food Pantry (which is in the church building), as well as other organizations in the area.
“Even though we cannot have our traditional annual fundraisers, the need to help the community is still out there,” said Dan Beaulieu of PSUMC finance committee. “We feel that this on-line auction is a great way to do that.”
Those interested in participating may go to 32auctions.com/psumc2022, or to 32auctions and search for Waterville PSUMC Auction.
The auction will feature a variety of items, ranging from a Belgian “gandmother’s clock,” to a handcrafted cherry wood cradle, to Celtics sports memorabilia, to a mahogany tilt table as well as framed map prints and numerous crafts and quilt kits.
