Healthy Living for ME volunteer training set for March, April

AUGUSTA — Healthy Living for ME is holding leadership training sessions in March for those interested in volunteering with the organization as a workshop leader.
Leadership training is open to any individual, as well as community organizations that would like their staff or volunteers to participate.
Training sessions will be held in Topsham and Waterville, and two others will be held on Zoom.
“If you’re passionate about health and wellness, leading workshops with Healthy Living for ME is a great way to make a difference in the community while learning about a subject that matters to you,” said Jen Paquet, training manager of Healthy Living for ME.
Completing the Living Well for Better Health leader training is a prerequisite requirement for participation in the Building Better Caregivers, Living Well with Chronic Pain and Living Well with Diabetes leader trainings.
Upcoming training sessions:
• Living Well for Better Health (Chronic Disease Self-Management Program) – 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday, March 14-Thursday, March 17 at the Highlands, Topsham
• Living Well with Chronic Pain (Chronic Pain Self-Management Program) – 9 a.m. to noon, Mondays and Wednesdays March 28-April 6, via Zoom.
• Building Better Caregivers – 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, Muskie Center, Waterville
• Living Well with Diabetes (Diabetes Self-Management Program) – 9 a.m.-noon, Mondays and Wednesdays, April 11-20, via Zoom.
