SKOWHEGAN – SKOW-Whoville will take place the first weekend of December, something organizers are hoping will become an annual event.
While things are pared down this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are still many events in Skowhegan to take part in. The highlight of the weekend will be the Whoville Parade, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, downtown.
Other events include free movie, “The Grinch,” as well as an appearance by the Grinch at The Strand, a hunt through town for the Grinch’s heart, with a $500 prize, family activities in Coburn Park, a craft fair, a one-act play at the Skowhegan Opera House and more.
