SKOWHEGAN – A Trunk or Treat event open to residents, businesses and community groups will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, Oct. 30, at T&B’s Celebration Center, 414 Madison Ave.
Children will come in costume and travel from trunk to trunk in the parking lot for treats that will be handed out at each vehicle. Everyone is encouraged to decorate their trunk (family friendly), and a prize will be given to the best decorated trunk.
While the event is free, registration for those offering a trunk is required by 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at skowheganregion.com/events/. All businesses with cars and trucks are welcome.
Business owners and employees do not need to come in costume, although it’s strongly encouraged. All vehicles must be decorated, though, and can be displayed with business name. First, second and third-place awards will be determined by people’s choice.
