DURHAM — Bulky Waste Day will be Saturday, Sept. 18, at the town public works depeartment.
Town residents can get rid of items that are hard to dispose of between 8 a.m. and noon at the public works center, 1099 Royalsborough Road. Electronics, including computers, TVs, light bulk batteries and more will not be accepted. Items that can be disposed of include furniture, vanities, sinks, toilets, grills (without the tank), tires, woodstoves, water heaters and more. For a list of what items are accepted, click here.
Cassella Waste, which is running the event, requires anyone dropping off items to wear a mask.
