BRUNSWICK — Pat Falci wil be the guest speaker at the Joshua L. Chamberlain Civil War Rountable at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, in the Morrell Room at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Falci was chief historical advisor for the movies “Gods and Generals” and “Gettysburg,” in which he portrayed General A.P. Hill. His topic is “Saddle Up with General Hill: Famous Generals and Their Warhorses.” He will also talk about other generals and their warhorses as well as several notable Hollywood horses and the actors who rode them. Falci rode with actors Tom Berenger, Sam Elliot, Chris Noth, Buck Taylor, all of whom were taught proper cavalry riding technique by the professional wranglers.
