Androscoggin Adventure river celebration is set for Aug. 28 in Rumford

RUMFORD — Androscoggin Adventure — A Sprint & A Float will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Rumford Boat Launch, U.S. Route 2.
The event, sponsored by Envision Rumford and Chisholm Ski Club, will include:
9:30 am.-12:30 p.m., Family Float and Frolicking
10 a.m.-noon, Multi-class canoe, kayak, SUP and first responders
Noon–12:30 p.m., awards
12:30-2:30 p.m., food
1-3 p.m. music by Jim Gallant
1-3 p.m., cornhole tournament, kids zone water fun, fundraiser booth
3 p.m., cornhole tournament awards
3 p.m., river poker run
