SKOWHEGAN — The Skowhegan Lions Club annual chicken barbecue is 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4.
The barbecue is a pre-order, curbside pickup event. Each dinner includes a one-half barbecued chicken, coleslaw, chips, a roll and butter, bottled water and a whoopie pie for $12. When the meal is bought online, a ticket is provided. Bring the ticket and get a meal. Pre-ordering is not necessary, but it will guarantee a meal will be available. If the event has to be canceled for any reason, money will be fully refunded.
Proceeds support the Skowhegan Lions Club’s charitable giving in central Maine.
