FARMINGTON — The Mount Blue Area Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday May 15, at Meetinghouse Park.
The sale will last until the plants are sold out. There will be perennials and other plants from our members’ gardens. This year the sale is expanding to include gently used gardening items, such as clean tools, gardening books or gardening magazines, clean plant pots and planters, plant markers, fencing, ornamental garden items and more.
This is the club’s only fundraiser, and it supports the scholarship program. Scholarships are given to Mt. Blue High School graduating students going on to study horticulture or associated areas of study.
All participants (buyers and sellers) are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
