Even though the Cops Care for Kids program looked slightly different this year, officers from the Fairfield Police Department didn’t let that stop them from making sure the boys and girls of the vommunity got their annual delivery of toys. The department carries on the memory of Kingston Paul, delivering presents on Dec. 23 to the smiling faces of children of their community. Paul, who died in 2016, “took extreme, personal pride in helping those in need… Beginning with money from his own pocket, and later with donated funds, King worked with fellow officers to ensure disadvantaged children in the area received not only a gift, but also love, attention and recognition for Christmas.” Pictured are Officer Shanna Blodgett, Officer Casey Dugas, Sgt.
