Thomas College offers its first 100 percent online graduate programs

WATERVILLE — Thomas College has created graduate programs in Cybersecurity, Criminology and Business Administration, which will all be offered 100 percent online.
This new programs begin Aug. 31.
The new online format was approved by the New England Commission of Higher Education. In 2018, Thomas College created its first hybrid (half online/half in person) degree program delivered in 8-week modules. With a demand for more flexibility and the capability to accelerate, Thomas sought to go 100 percent online with the majority of their degree programs to provide greater access and flexibility for current and future students.
In addition to going online, all graduate programs will also be delivered in 8-week modules beginning Fall 2020. This allows students an entry point to any degree program every eight weeks – allowing students to accelerate their degree and complete in one year or two or go at their own pace.
Thomas College offers Master’s in Cybersecurity, Criminology or Business Administration – with MBA concentrations in Human Resource Management, Healthcare Management, and Project Management. Thomas also offers Master’s in Education programs, which will remain a part-time evening program with courses offered on campus – but plans to offer more online/hybrid classes. Thomas College offers MS Education degrees with concentrations in Leadership or Literacy. For more information, please visit thomas.edu/gps.
