Somerset County Homemakers set tentative April schedule

SKOWHEGAN — The Somerset County Homemakers have released their schedule for April, tentative, depending on COVID-19 related restrictions.
The homemakers are partners with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, extending adult education into home and community in the areas of food safety, nutrition and health, gardening, cultural and creative arts, financial planning and going green. Individual groups have community service projects for veterans, families in need, donating to food cupboards, shelters and fundraising for various charities.
April programs are:
Monday, April 6, Gleaning, 7 p.m., Cambridge Town Hall
Friday, April 10, Clinton Day salads at 10 a.m.in Clinton Town Office
Thursday, April 16, Madison, bring fidget pillow, 9:30 a.m. in private home
Tuesday, April 14, Ripley, 10:30 a.m. Gleaning in private home
Thursday, April 9, Wyoming at 10 a.m. in Solon Fire Station
The programs are free and open to the public.
