Topsham Public Library hosting two fee holiday movie showings

TOPSHAM — The Topsham Public Library will hold two free showings of family holliday movies on the library’s big screen.
“Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” will be shown from 6 to 7 p.m.Thursday, Dec. 19. In the holiday classic A misfit reindeer and his friends look for a place that will accept them. Recommended ages 3 and up, but all are welcome.
“Elf,” 1:30 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23. The Christmas film tells the tale of a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts on Christmas Eve and is transported back to the North Pole and raised as an elf. Years later Buddy learns he is not really an elf and goes on a journey to New York City to find his true identity. Rated PG. Recommendedfor ages 7 and up, but all are welcome.
For both screenings, bring pillows and blankets for extra coziness. Popcorn will be served.
