Thomas College fall open house events are Oct. 19, Nov. 9

WATERVILLE — High school students and their families are invited to a showcase of all things Thomas College at the fall open house Saturday, Oct. 19 or Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Thomas College’s campus, 180 West River Road.
“Come find out what Thomas College can offer you,” said Wendy Martin, assistant vice president of admissions. “You’ll hear first-hand from current students, professors and staff about what it’s like to be a part of our Thomas College community.”
Students and families will learn about how Thomas College sets itself apart from other colleges with its Guaranteed Job Program, its accelerated degree programs now offered for all majors, how students can personalize their Thomas College experience, and student life in the Thomas community.
If students bring their high school transcript and college essay, Thomas will offer an on-the-spot admissions session just for them.
The day kicks off at 9 a.m. with a conversation with President Laurie Lachance and Provost Dr. Thomas Edwards, then on to one-to-ones with faculty and students in their majors of interest, campus tours, admissions and financial aid information; the day ends with lunch under the tent while checking out Homecoming and Family Weekend’s festivities and athletic games.
Students can reserve their spot for Thomas College’s fall open house events by registering online or by calling 207-859-1101.
