Preparations underway for Waterville’s Kringleville

Oct. 62019

WATERVILLE — Santa and Mrs. Claus are preparing to be at the Kringleville cabin downtown again this Christmas season.
They’ll take residence at Kringleville, at Castonguay Square, after they arrive, as usual, Friday, Nov. 29, the day after Thanksgiving during the annual Parade of Lights in downtown Waterville.
Santa and Mrs. Claus look forward to visiting with area residents, as well as many who travel from miles away to share stories with Santa and see Mrs. Claus, too.
Visitors should remember to dress appropriately for the weather including warm footwear, a warm hat, mittens and a warm jacket, to make waiting in line more comfortable. Santa and Mrs. Claus frequently hear by the way, that the visit is worth the wait. They think so too!
Kringleville continues with the support of The Children’s Discovery Museum led by Executive Director Amarinda Keys. Central Maine Photography will make sure elves Cinnamon and Cinnamon Stick are at the cabin again this season to offer photos of visitors with Santa. Other supporters are Central Maine Motors Auto Group, Kringleville’s major sponsor, as well as Colby College, Selah Tea Café, GHM Insurance, Portland Pie Company, Technology Solutions of Maine, Kennebec Behavioral Health, Marden’s, the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, the Bankery and others who shared the holiday spirit with caroling, hot chocolate and more.
All of us at the North Pole, appreciate the generosity of Central Maine Motors Auto Group being Kringleville’s major sponsor again this season!
Other businesses that would like to take part may contact Keys Keys at The Children’s Discovery Museum at 207-622-2209 or amarinda@childrensdiscoverymuseum.org.
Kringleville is a supporter of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and proceeds from hand-painted annual Kringleville collectable ornaments will help children in need.
