WATERVILLE — To celebrate “fall back,” when most Americans turn their clocks back one hour the morning of Sunday, Nov. 3, Tinkergarten is hosting a Fall Lantern Walk.
The event is designed to help us all welcome the shift in daylight and the transition it signifies as we move from fall toward winter, as well as connecting kids to nature.
Families gather before dusk, sing songs, light lanterns and enjoy an outdoor walk in the park. This event is free, but registration is required. It will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at the North Street Playground, 151 North St. It will be one of hundreds of Lantern Walks taking place, involving thousands of families across the country.
Kids can make their own lanterns beforehand, by visiting tinkergarten.com/activities.
Tinkergarten provides early childhood learning to kids in all communities in the healthiest classroom of all — the outdoors.
