Clinton, Litchfield fairs begin later this week

Two central Maine agricultural fairs are taking place at the end of the week.
The Clinton Agricultural Fair will be from Thursday, Sept. 5, through Sunday, Sept. 8, at the fairgrounds, 1450 Bangor Road, Clinton.
The fair is a family oriented agricultural fair with animal and mechanical pulling, outstanding midway, exhibit halls, stage entertainment and a woodsmen contest.

The Litchfield Fair will take place from Friday, Sept. 6, through Sunday, Sept. 8.
It will be held at the Litchfield Fairgrounds, 44 Plains Road.
With the motto “It’s What a Fair Should Be!”, the fair has a large midway, agricultural exhibits, livestock, animal pull events and a historical fair museum. I
