Waterville Library lineup for rest of August set

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library has a solid lineup of events planned for kids and teens for the remainder of August.
All programs are free and open to the public at the library, 73 Elm St.
Teen Movie night on Thursday, Aug. 22, will feature “Avengers: Endgame.” Since the movie has a long runtime, it’s beginning at 3:30 p.m. Movie night is for ages 11 to 18, and the movie is rated PG-13.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Satur-Play is from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Children’s Room. Topics this month are Back to School Bash, Aug. 17; Summer Craft, Aug. 24; Legos, Aug. 31.
Crafternoons are 2:30 to 4 on Tuesday. Topics this month are Mushroom Friends Aug. 20, and I Love Hedgehogs, Aug. 27. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a grown-up helper.
Rhymetime: for Babies, toddlers and their grownups meets from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Fridays in the Children’s Department. Topics are Friends on Aug. 23 and Favorite Songs on Aug. 30.
The library also offers teen game nights from 4 to 6 p.m. every Monday.
