RFA fundraiser July 11 to feature Carole King ‘Tapestry’ tribute performance

RANGELEY — Rangeley Friends of the Arts will hold a fundraiser Thursday, July, 11, featuring a Carole King tribute band.] The evening begins with private cocktail receptions at 5:30 p.m., followed by a dessert reception with a cash bar.

The concert features “Tapestry: The Carole King Songbook,” starring Suzanne O. Davis. This show recreates the sound and vibe of a 1970s Carole King concert experience following her legendary album, “Tapestry.” Attention to detail is taken in recreating a respectful and accurate musical presentation of piano and vocals, just as they were for a journey back to the great recordings.
