AUBURN — The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College will offer a Comp TIA Server course starting Tuesday, July 9. The class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5 to 8:55 p.m., through Aug. 13. Deadline for registration is July 2.
Servers lie at the heart of modern day business, so knowing your way around them is a key skill in today’s IT world.
The comprehensive course will cover hardware, software operating systems, storage, networking and security, all as they relate to the server. Cloud, virtualization and documentation concepts will also be addressed. With additional preparation and practice, the CompTIA Server exam will earn students IT certification. The certification test can be completed at the CMCC testing center.
