Grant keeps things rolling along at Turner Public Library

TURNER– The Maine Public Library Fund has awarded Turner Public Library a $3,900 grant to go along with a $1,500 grant from the Margaret E. Burnham Charitable Trust for the purchase of custom-made rolling bookshelves.

The bookshelves will be built by the Maine Prison Service, allowing for additional space to be created in the library on an as-needed basis by easily moving the bookshelves.
The Maine Public Library Fund is a tax-payer supported fund that creates much needed funds for Maine’s public libraries.
Taxpayers can support the MPLF by making an annual selection on their state tax returns.
