WATERVILLE — The Waterville Opera House will present a production of the classic musical “The Wizard of Oz” opening Friday, April 5.
There will be free opening night party for all opening night ticket holders and the production will run through Sunday, April 14, at the Waterville Opera House.
The production includes a live orchestra and aerial flights of fancy high above the stage.
The cast includes Dorothy Gale – Katie Boston Zeke; Cowardly Lion – Mandela Gardner Hickory; Tin Man – Tim Croce; Hunk/Scarecrow – Ben Clark; Aunt Em – Laverne Craig; Uncle Henry – Dave Germain; Glinda, The Good Witch – Jessica Lake; Miss Almira Gulch/The Wicked Witch of the West – Jeralyn Shattuck; Professor Chester Marvel/Wizard of Oz – Bart Shattuck.
The children’s ensemble includes Juliet Boivin, Emmy Carlson, Brooke Chamberlain, Ella Clark, Grace Clark, Lydia Clark, Sam Clark, Teddy Clark, Jacob Coons, Gabrielle Finelli, Isabelle Gannett, Micah Grazulis, Lucy Hallen, Nickolas Harper, Ezra Haviland, Riviera Hernandez, Paige Lambert, Tristan Morton, Mac VanDeventer, Kate Walters.
The adult ensemble includes Dana Bushee, Matthew Craig, Samantha Delorie, Robin Finelli, Vanessa Glazier, Celeste Gleason, Richard Haviland, Paul Herard, Hannah King, Gretchen Lane, Katie Libold, Arturo Meneses, Laura Messner, Melvin Morrison.
The production is directed by Debra Susi, musical direction is by Cynthia Sambrano, choreography is by Ariel Grenier, scenic design is by Chad Lefebvre, costume design is by Lorica Siefken, lighting design is by Tony Gerow, sound design is by Elijah Livingston
