November activities at Waterville Public Library include Job Search Lab

WATERVILLE — November activities at the Waterville Public Library include something for every age, from week Job Search Labs, to teen movie nights, to Satur-Play for younger kids.
Job Search Labs are from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, and are for job seekers of all backgrounds. Those attending can get ideas to improve their search, work on resume and cover letter and learn about education and training options available in the area.

No appointment is necessary. The lab is staffed by Augusta CareerCenter, Mid-Maine Regional Adult Community Education and New Ventures Maine.

Kids can take part in Satur-Play from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturdays, which include games, making things, telling storie, and meeting new people (and maybe even furry visitors). Scheduled sessions include Maker Space on Nov. 17 and Apples-to-Apples Disney Version on Nov. 24.

Crafternoons take place between 2:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, and kids can drop in anytime. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a grown-up helper. November’s crafts include handprint dinosaurs and turkeys on Nov. 20, and Model Magic Dinosaur Fossils on Nov. 27.

Teens can take part in Game Night from 4 to 6 p.m. on Mondays, and Teen Movie Night at 4 p.m. on Thursdays. Both are in the Bartlett Room and are for those between 11 to 18, are free, and light refreshments are served. There is no movie on Thanksgiving Day.
