Homeschool Hub, Teen Game Night on Waterville library schedule

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library will host a couple of different opportunities for students in the upcoming weeks.
Homeschoolers are invited to meet at every Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. for games, crafts, speakers and more.

There will be an activity in the children’s department for attendees in first through sixth grades, and an activity in the Bartlett Room for Teens for attendees in sixth through 12th grades. The activity will change every week.
Teen Game Night will be held Monday, Sept. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. The Paper and pencil role-playing game where you control a character and go on quests with friends begins at 4 p.m., and the library’s collection of board games and games for the Wii, PS3 and Wii U also will be available.
The event is free and open to students ages 11 to 18. Materials will be provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own sets of gaming dice. Light refreshments will be available.
