BETHEL — Many of Maine’s favorite birds have disappeared. Or have they? Doug Hitchcox, field naturalist for Maine Audubon, would like the public’s help figuring out what birds are breeding in Maine.
Learn how to participate in the Maine Bird Breeding Atlas and help find the answer to “Where have these birds gone?” at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Mahoosuc Land Trust’s Valentine Farm Conservation Center, 162 North Road.
Participants may also join Hitchcox for a bird walk at Valentine Farm at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 30.
