Waterville Earth Day parade, including masks, is April 21

WATERVILLE — Several city arts organizations are hosting a parade to celebrate Earth Day that includes picking up trash along the route.
Participants may also make recycled masks before the parade begins.

They should bring recyclable materials with them to help create the masks.
The mask-making and parade begins at the Waterville Public Library, 73 Elm St., and ends at Common Street Arts, 93 Main St. The event is from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, which is the day before Earth Day.
The event is sponsored by the library, WatervilleCreates! and Sustain Mid-Maine Coalition’s Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Team.
