BRUNSWICK — UMA’s University College Center at Bath/Brunswick is one of eight UMA centers around Maine where people can take courses, pursue degrees, and receive all the support they need to earn a degree close to home and on schedules that fit into their family and work lives.
Courses are taught by faculty on site, online, via interactive television or two-way videoconferencing.
The center is in a wing of Orion Hall on the Southern Maine Community College Midcoast Campus, 12 Sewall St.
UMA’s University College Center at Bath/Brunswick has served the southern midcoast area for more than 30 years and provides local access to more than 60 university degree and certificate programs.
It offer small class sizes, personalized services, tutoring in math and writing, and Osher scholarships and students may select from more than 500 classes in flexible formats, including a number of traditional onsite classes.
