The LaCroix family of Skowhegan visited the Maine State House Thursday, Jan. 25. During their visit, Evelyn LaCroix, daughter of Douglas and Carrie LaCroix, began the day’s work in the Maine House of Representatives by singing the national anthem. They also met with their Sen. Rod Whittemore, r- Skowhegan. “I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet with the LaCroix family during their visit to the State House,” he said. “I was particularly impressed that Evelyn, at only 10 years-old, had the courage to perform before the entire Maine House of Representatives.
