TURNER — The Kora Shriners drew names from Christmas tree entries and announced the winner of the Turner Publishing tree to be Paul Sprague. Last year we did a fun Candyland-themed tree. This year we decided to do a classic red and gold.
The seven-foot prelit tree was adorned with red and gold ornaments, garland and ribbon. Beneath the tree were many items that the winner can use around his home: twig sleigh, Santa figure holding a sled, chocolates, Christmas-themed DVD, Nutcracker glasses, big red glass candle jar, gold lantern, Merry Christmas plaque, big jingle bells, gold tree skirt and topper, and gift certificates.
We received positive feedback on how beautiful the tree looked. We are already thinking of a theme for our next FEZtival tree.
